With that in mind, and taking into account the exceptional circumstances that we all currently find ourselves working within, it gives us great pleasure to announce the recipient of July’s *BeBrilliant Award. We continue to be amazed and humbled at the extent employees are prepared to go – the extra hours willingly to put in, the flexibility to adapt to new working practices and the team spirit shown in overcoming challenges collaboratively. As North America continues to adapt to its new way of working, we believe the *BeBrilliant Awards are not only a celebration of individual excellence, but representative of the great work currently happening across the whole CleanMark community.

Edgar Jurado Ortiz

Edgar Jurado Ortiz provides service to a Target store in the state of Wisconsin. Edgar was kindly nominated by his Area Manager. We’d like to share the nomination as we think it sums up the well-deserved award perfectly:

“Edgar has been an exemplary Lead at our Wisconsin Target store. He has been with us since our roll out in September of 2018. In this time, Edgar has shown true leadership qualities – always leading by example. The crew at this store absolutely love Edgar. This includes the Target crew as well. Edgar treats everyone with kindness and understanding, he holds true to CleanMark’s standard of professionalism and is more than deserving of this honor.”

Edgar is a team player who goes above and beyond to deliver outstanding results at his site in a manner that is both collaborative, respectful and professional. As such, it was immensely gratifying to see Neal’s nomination being seconded by the client – Target’s Property Manager:

“When I took over my current role as Target Property Manager, Edgar was already here in a role taking care of the store. I can’t stress how lucky I was in that. He has been a hard worker ever since I’ve met him. This is most visible in the job he does. When I get visitors, without fail they will comment on “how shiny the floors look”. Also, looking up on Google reviews, one will find lots of comments on how clean the store is kept. Much of this is due to Edgar and his work ethic. Not only is he a hard worker, but he excels with communicating. He seeks out myself or other leaders about when he is able to come in early to make the tasks of the day more manageable. He also smoothly transitions between speaking English and speaking Spanish and acts as interpreter with others. As someone who admires and appreciates the job he does, I am very lucky to have him.”
