It is time to announce September’s winner of the *BeBrilliant Awards program. As ever, there has been a strong set of nominees from across the CleanMark community – making the award committee’s job extremely difficult. This month we are proud to celebrate the hard work and compassion of an exceptional colleague, who epitomizes the essence of the CleanMark Community. We have recognized this person previously for her excellent work helping people with physical and learning differences and mental health challenges. An initiative that we are delighted to announce has grown in reach – a testament to her continued inclusive commitment to fostering diversity in her territory, especially during this unprecedented time. In tandem with this, is additional recognition for a superb job implementing CleanMark’s Dayside® Preventative Cleaning Program within the Northumberland County, Canada.

Michelle Dickison
Michelle Dickison is a Territory Manager for Eastern Ontario. Michelle was kindly nominated by Sophia Harris, Regional Vice President Eastern Canada. We’d like to share her nomination as we think it sums up the well-deserved award perfectly:
“I am very fortunate to have Michelle on my team. Over the last seven years I have watched Michelle grow both personally and professionally. Michelle is hard working, dedicated and always has the best interests for both her clients and employees. Her ability to build and maintain strong relationships make her a very successful manager. It is her grounded approach to management that drives her success – she is very deserving of this recognition. Congratulations Michelle on significantly expanding our services to The Northumberland County!”
Michelle’s story is certainly one of growth. She was instrumental in the successful implementation of our new Dayside® Program across a number of key buildings earmarked by Northumberland County. It is how Michelle takes care of the client, her ability to earn the trust and confidence of the municipality that helped gain the County’s ongoing trust during this difficult time for all public building management.
As Michelle keeps growing in her role, she continues to work tirelessly to help all find meaningful employment. As a direct result of that work, we have expanded our reach, working with more organizations who support employers to recruit, hire and retain individuals with differences, namely Earn, Agilec, Canadian Hearing Society and META building
a diverse and inclusive working community.
“Mental health still has a significant stigma attached to it, especially at work,” explains Michelle. “Yet it touches so many individuals. I have always been committed to fostering an inclusive environment for everyone.”
It therefore seems only right that Michelle should be receiving this award during Mental Health Awareness Week, especially in light of the additional strain and anxiety caused by the uncertainty of COVID-19.
