CleanMark, a North American facility services company is delighted to announce that it has been certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women Business Enterprises Canada Council (WBE Canada).

WBE Canada is a fast-growing network of over 1,300 certified Canadian Women Business Enterprises and works closely with corporations and government organizations advocating for inclusion of Canadian Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) in supply chains across Canada and abroad.

The recent certification stands as a testament to CleanMark’s long-term commitment to promoting and advancing female colleagues into senior management roles. The fact that 58% of CleanMark’s Senior Leadership positions are held by females epitomizes its inclusive approach to business, where equality and inclusion is a reality for all; where respect and understanding are at the heart of its culture; where equal access and opportunity to learn, grow, succeed and thrive are available to everyone.

“What makes this certification so special is many of our clients have been a driving force for equity and inclusion within their own organizations”, said CleanMark’s Principal, Angela Vavitsas. “We’re incredibly grateful to be working with people and brands that champion this message of diversity and we proudly stand alongside them in the pursuit of equitable business practice.”

CleanMark has worked hard to create an inclusive culture, understanding its importance to a workforce that is spread across North America is key. Making colleagues feel included, means they speak up, take ownership, go the extra mile, and collaborate all of which ultimately lifts organizational performance. It has been at the heart of the CleanMark approach for over 25 years and goes a long to explaining why the average tenure of its female Senior Leadership is over 16 years.
