CleanMark Group Inc., a North American facility services company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Angela Vavitsas to the role of Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness and the appointment of Peter Androutsos to the position of Director of Innovation, Technology, and Integration (ITI).

CleanMark has a long history of delivering smart, personal service through innovative solutions, operational excellence and exceptional talent. The recent promotion and appointment is indicative of CleanMark’s ongoing commitment to continually enhancing its service level – placing a focus on what customers want, achieving geographical consistency, delivering impeccable service and support, and ultimately making it easier to do business with CleanMark across North America.

Angela Vavitsas joined CleanMark in 2014, implementing a number of initiatives that streamlined and improved processes, promoted best practices and compliance as well as addressing risk issues. In her new role, she will continue to focus on automation – leveraging technology to enhance day-to-day operations – while further streamlining and standardizing processes across the organization.

“This is an exciting point in the company’s history and I am delighted to assume this new role to help strengthen our existing operations framework across North America,” said Vavitsas. “I’m looking forward to working collaboratively with clients, team members and key partners to create optimal systems, processes and procedures that support our continued growth.”

Vavitsas is actively leading efforts to identify and implement additional technology and human resources to support her new role. To that end, she has enlisted the services of Peter Androutsos in the position of Director of Innovation, Technology and Integration (ITI).

After obtaining his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto in Multidimensional Signal Processing, Androutsos spent more than 12 years with a startup in the government services sector.  He has experience in software engineering, product development, Agile methodologies, project and requirements management, web technologies, and IT. In addition to having successfully deployed complex systems in various locations in Canada and the United States, Androutsos has extensive experience performing technical sales in North and South America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe. Androutsos has written numerous papers in peer reviewed journals, and is a member of the IEEE. As the company’s Director of Innovation, Technology and Integration (ITI), he will be responsible for utilizing his strong breadth of technical, analytical and organizational skills to support and improve upon existing corporate processes and scenarios as well as tackling new problems requiring partial or complete technological solutions.
